# Token overview & Utility

**SABAI Token** is a utility token utilized within the Sabai ecosystem and its products, as well as in B2B solutions for executing a range of tasks.

### Transaction fees

[White Label](/b2b-solutions.md) solutions based on the Sabai Protocol require SABAI Tokens to cover fees, the size of which depends on the specific project's transactional volume. At the client's discretion, these fees can be covered either by users or from the project's general pool.

In the first scenario, fees are directly deducted from users, requiring them to have SABAI Tokens in their wallets to carry out actions. In the second scenario, the project itself covers the fees.

Furthermore, a portion of the tokens used to pay fees is automatically burned during transactions. This mechanism helps maintain organic demand for Sabai Tokens.

### Security deposits and White Label licenses

When assets are placed within the Sabai ecosystem, whether through the Tokenization & Listing solution or via joint distribution using the White Label solution, clients make a Security deposit in SABAI Tokens. This deposit guarantees the security and reliability of the assets being placed, thereby protecting the ecosystem and its users.

Furthermore, SABAI Tokens are utilized for the payment of "[White Labe](/b2b-solutions.md)l" and "[Tokenization & Listing](/b2b-solutions.md)" licenses, along with additional modules.

### The primary currency across Sabai's ecosystem products

SABAI Token serves as the currency across various products within the Sabai ecosystem. For instance, the token is used for rewarding users in [Sabai World](/sabai-world/sabai-world-overview.md), in farming programs, and as a reward for educational efforts within the [Sabai Academy](https://academy.sabaiecoverse.com/).

On the flip side, holders of SABAI Tokens can utilize their coins to purchase virtual assets within Sabai World and access new educational materials within the Sabai Academy.

Moreover, the SABAI Token can function as currency in client projects if they opt not to issue their own utility token.
